What is Mustache Films?

Inception & Mission

Mustache Films provides the community with trained individuals to ultimately assist in real-world professional film productions. Film professionals, businesses and non-profits who seek the assistance of Mustache Films help give back to the community by providing educational opportunities for our students to observe and assist in real-world professional productions.

Mustache Films also provides businesses, artist and nonprofit organizations a team of highly trained individuals who can evaluate and deliver professionally produced music videos, commercials, promotional videos and short films all in an effort to help improve the betterment of the community and contribute to the San Antonio film society.

Artist and professionals we’ve worked with include: Devyn Deloera, Girl in a Coma, Alyssa Bernal, Lawrence Mercado of NotBot FX, Brant Bumpers, Anthony Guajardo, Steel Country, Emily Morgan Hotel, Jesse Borrego, Lucky Brown, Lil’ Young, University of the Incarnate Word.

Mustache Films purpose is to foster youth the opportunity to work with professionals in the film industry producing professional quality films, documentaries, commercials and music videos.

Led by film professionals Allysun de Leon, Buddy Calvo, Mario Falcon, Miguel Romero Jr., Amber Jasso and producer Joe Gallegos, Mustache Films is a video production company/organization that teaches students all there is to know about todays world of cinema. Mustache Films is a by product of the Urban Film School and works closely with the San Antonio production company Machina Cinema.
